We’ve observed an unprecedented surge in interest from 270R racers this year, with new drivers eager to join our UK Championship and seamlessly transition between different series based on their schedules and the appeal of top-notch circuits. The uniformity across all three Caterham championships, now adhering to the same tyre and specifications for all 1600cc cars, presents an excellent opportunity for drivers to explore new avenues. At 7 Racing, we wholeheartedly embrace this evolution, leveraging our eight years of experience with the Toyo tyre, our strong partnership with MSVR, and our dedicated independent event organization.
Brands Hatch GP stands out as a particularly popular venue, attracting significant participation across all classes. However, grid slots for 270R are filling up fast, so if you’re considering signing up, we urge you to do so as soon as possible to avoid disappointment. We only have a limited number of grid slots left for 270R’s with our target being 20 on the grid. This same trend is evident across our other events and in both of our other classes, with robust numbers of both 420R and 310R entrants for this year.
