The 7 Race Series modernises and rebrands to become ‘7 Racing’

2024 sees us at the 7 Race Series upping our game again. We have decided to modernise and rebrand. Firstly, as we haven’t actually been a ‘Series’ for quite a few years, we are changing our name. From 2024 the 7 Race Series will simply be known as ‘7 Racing’. We will still be running our same great Championship in partnership with MSVR on the best circuits that the UK has to offer with the same close, fair racing and warm friendly atmosphere. Check out the dates and venues for the 7 Racing UK Championship below.

We are also growing our very successful European events into what we are calling the ‘7 Racing Euro Cup’. This four-event cup competition will take in circuits across the UK, France, Spain and Portugal, competing at current and ex Formula 1 venues across the continent. The 2024 Euro Cup will be a precursor to us running a full FIA European championship in 2025 and will allow us to gauge interest in a full European Championship program. Our partners in France, Portugal and Spain will be joining us in gauging interest in the Euro Cup during 2024.

Our website is also undergoing some changes. Our web address will now be simply ‘www.Seven.Racing’. This is currently undergoing some construction and design work, so bear with us for the next week or so.

“Clubman racing is an ever-changing landscape, and we are trying to keep on top of what our drivers and the wider Caterham racing driver community want from their Motorsport” said Sean Bicknell the manager of 7 Racing. “We want to offer the best racing experiences to our customers that we can. A shorter UK championship and an enhanced European program is what our drivers have told us they want, and we hope that what we have to offer in 2024 will fill that bill”.

“We have always prided ourselves on offering fair, close racing at the best circuits across the UK and Europe” added Andy McMillan, managing Director of McMillan Motorsport and 7 Racing. “We have worked hard with our partners at MSVR and CRM Portugal, CRM Spain and Caterham France to offer what we feel is the best clubman racing calendar in 2024. Our new logos have incorporated the ‘McMillan’ name for the first time. This is not meant to put any less focus on all of the other fabulous race teams that help to make the Championship what it is. We just wanted to make sure that along with our familiar red ‘7’ drivers and teams alike would realise that ‘7 Racing’ isn’t a new kid on the block and that in fact is enhancing the great job that the 7 Race Series has always done”.

We are working hard to make the ‘7 Racing UK Championship’ and the ‘7 Racing Euro Cup’ the premier Caterham racing series’ in the UK and across Europe. Add to this our annual pilgrimage to the fantastic Estoril circuit for the end of season Caterham Festival, which has always been extremely popular. Huge amounts of track time at this fabulous location on the Portuguese coast make this a great way to finish off what will be a very special season.

All of us at ‘7 Racing’ look forward to seeing you in 2024.
